I know all type of cameras can do that with their software but I need a camera to do that with an button option to change the date or time and always do that straight without going to software.

Why do digital cameras drink battery acid?

I can get 8 hours on my MP3 with triple As but only about 15 pics on my digital camera with double As!
I already use rechargeables. I was using non rechargeables to demonstrate the point.

I have the digital converter cable box for my TV since TV is now digital, but the remote I have for it is now broken. Can I get a universal remote that will work with the cable box and the TV? my last remote did not control both. There are two general types of universal remotes. The cheaper type of universal remote is not programmable and I suspect that is what you have (had?). The other type of rem is programmable, by some means. With this type of remote, you will NEVER run into a piece of gear it will not run (because you program it in some way).Within the group of programmable remotes, there are learning remotes and there is another type. I am not exactly sure how to describe it but at least some of these Logitechs (and there are other brands) where you hook it up to a computer and give the computer the make and model of your hardware and the codes to program your remote to run the things you own are downloaded over the internet.http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/remotes/&cl=us,enWhatever type you go with, go with a programmable type and you will not have this problem in the future. You can just do a google search like this http://www.google.com/search?client=safari&rls=en&q=%22programmable+remote%22&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8and do your own research.

I got a Yongnuo RC-5 Digital Remote Control remote for my Canon XSI rebel in the mail today and I just can't seem to get it to work. Is there a reason for this? Is there something I have to do beforehand? I didn't get an instruction pack or anything seeing as it just came in that little box, and I've looked all over the interwebs but can't find anything. Help please? Yes I have the camera in remote mode. Do you have the camera in the remote mode? The only other thing I can think of is that you are not aiming the transmitter on the front of the remote directly at the infrared receiver on the front of your camera.
Is there a Universal Remote that works with the Digital converter cable boxs?
